A fine bronze figure of a female nude with outstretched arms known as 'Awakening' or' Le Reveil'. With original patina and standing on a veined red marble base. Standing 40cm high and signed to the base P Philippe with a Goldscheider foundry stamp to the base.
Born in Poland, Paul Philippe moved to Paris exhibiting at the French salons with this being one of his most popular figures.
