Carlton Ware 'Orbit' Pattern Coffee Set and Sandwich Plates

A striking set of Carlton Atomic Orbit pattern. Comprised of one tea and one coffee pot, six cups and saucers, One large sandwich plate and a butter dish with matching knife. Designed by Peter Forster, Circa 1957 The motiff called Orbit - after the little Festival of Britain style abstract motif. All items are in an eggshell cream matt glaze with glazed red contrast.
